Case Study #3 is a product which had a good design concept but needed some adjustments for manufacturing feasibility.
The client had designed an assembly which consisted of several subassembly components which needed to fit together seamlessly. There were wheels, an axel, a hanger and various other components.
Our designers worked with the customer’s design team making adaptations to various specifications such as wall thickness, ribbing structures, inserts and distances between wall sections. Below is an image of the finished assembly.
